Hey, I'm Gemma - The Female Strength Coach
I’m an elite-level strength coach with over 20+ years of experience helping women build real strength - physically, mentally, and in all the ways they show up in their lives.
My work goes beyond just training programs.
I coach across strength, nutrition, and mindset - because results don’t come from one area alone.
They come from how everything works together.
Over the years, I’ve coached women to:
- Build strength and hit lifts they never thought possible
- Develop confidence and body awareness in the gym
- Prepare for competition across multiple strength sports
- Transform not just their physique - but how they think, train, and live
Alongside coaching, I also teach and mentor future coaches - delivering and coordinating Certificate III & IV in Fitness and helping raise the standard of the industry.

Olympic Weightlifting (International level)
Powerlifting (State & National level)
Bodybuilding (State & National level)
CrossFit & Strongwoman (Regional & State level)
Achievements include:
🥈 Silver - World Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championships (2019)
🥉 Bronze - IFBB Pro League Bodybuilding NSW Titles (2023 & 2024)
🥇 Gold (x2) - APL Powerlifting Nationals (2025) + 10 Australian Records broken in 2025
I’m currently training for Nationals in September 2026 - because I don’t just coach this standard, I live it.
How I Coach
I’m known for being able to quickly identify what’s holding someone back - whether it’s technique, injury, structure, habits, or mindset - and give clear, practical solutions that actually work.
I don’t look at one piece of the puzzle.
I look at the whole system - because that’s what creates real progress.
Most women don’t need more information.
They need structure, consistency, and the ability to stay the course when things get hard.
That’s what I coach.
That's why the StrongAF ecosystem was born.
I saw a huge gap in the market for coaches like me who saw the whole picture. Who were educated, had the experience and actually knew what they were talking about when it come to training, and building a powerful physique.
Not just the aesthetics and the look of the body - but everything else that comes with it. What is the point of a beautiful body that isn't functional or strong? The rhetoric that gets told on social media to the masses about having to look a certain type of way. I'm here to break that mould - to disrupt and stop women from focusing on the mirror or the scale (those are just happy by products of the program) but to actually focus on what counts - being strong, building muscle, taking up space and being the powerhouse that you were meant to be.
My Difference
I've been called a wizard by my clients - I often am able to figure out exactly what is going on with them just by watching them complete a movement, or even after having a simple conversation. Whether that be internal in terms of the digestive or emotional side, or an injury or dysfunction in their movement pattern - I'm able to pin point it very quickly and put together a plan to move forward.
My biggest strength lies in that I can piece the puzzle together - looking at all aspects of the body of as a system and drawing on my knowledge in both the physical and practical, while pairing it with keen level of intuition and knowing of the energetic and spiritual aspects and how that all fits together to give a clear picture of what is happening for my client at the time.
I Was Once Like You
I walk the talk. This is an industry that I have spent the majority of my adult life being a part of. I have competed in multiple strength sports at an elite level, and have been every shape and size in my physique that you can imagine. I have done every diet, every eating structure and had moments where I hated my body and what I saw looking back at me in the mirror. I have gone through all of the ups and downs of restriction and discipline, to out of control and chaos. I've been injured and unable to train for months at a time, and found my way out and was even stronger after it. I've lived many versions of me. I know what it takes to get someone to the next level. This is my life's work, my passion and I'm here to change the narrative to empower women to be their best in all areas of their life.

And I believe every woman is capable of more than she currently believes - if she’s willing to show up and do the work. I also believe that every women should be proud of themselves and the body they live in - and feel and know what its like to be truly strong and build a body that will stand the test of time. Whether that be in life, competition or in their overall physique.
Outside of Coaching
Training is a HUGE part of my life - it’s where I process, reset, and push myself.
I’m also a fur mum to two dogs and two cats, and someone who’s always learning and trying to better myself in someway - whether that’s in performance, nutrition, further study or understanding how people think and operate. I am currently in the middle of a Bachelor Food Sciences and Nutrition degree, a Diploma in Adult Education and in between it all I also find time to give 100% to my clients, my training and my loved ones. Its a busy and full lifestyle - but I love it this way!

If you’re preparing for competition or want to train for high performance → The Collective
Yes - but that doesn't mean you need to be an expert. Some gym experience is ideal, even if you feel unsure about what to do - you just do need to be willing to learn, apply, and stay consistent.
The Movement is designed to help build your foundation properly. If you decide to join The Club or The Collective, then you will need to be a little more experienced and able to execute a higher and more committed level.
Access increases as you move through the levels.
The Movement → group-based support and Q&A
The Club → group access & email check-ins
The Collective → personalised, direct, ongoing 1:1 & group coaching & support

The level of individualisation depends on your choice of program.
The Collective includes fully customised coaching.
The Club includes structured programming with written feedback and adjustments on a bi-weekly basis
The Movement follows structured programming with group support.
You don’t need to feel “ready” — but you do need to be willing to show up and do the work.

That depends on your consistency, effort, and how you apply the coaching.
Women inside StrongAF typically build strength, improve their physique, and develop more confidence and control in how they train and live.
This isn’t designed as a short-term quick fix program.
StrongAF is built around consistency and long-term progression.
Each level has a minimum term requirement as a commitment to the program and yourself.
The more consistent you are, the better your results will be.

Yes — through The Collective.
This is the program that is designed specifically for high-level elite coaching for competition clients in both strength sports and bodybuilding. If you wish to compete, this is the program for you.
This isn’t for people looking for quick fixes or low commitment.
If you’re not ready to be consistent, take direction, feedback and have a desire to grow and better yourself - then this won’t be the right fit for you.
